Special thanks to American Express for sponsoring Voices for Utah Children's 30th Anniversary Year.
This is not the first time Utah children have benefited from the generosity of American Express. Several years ago, American Express made a sizable donation to help Voices for Utah Children work on issues involving early education. We are happy to report that investment in our work has led to great improvements in access to high quality preschool. American Express’s initial investment allowed Voices for Utah Children to pioneer an innovative new model to expand access to government services—Pay for Success. This model, developed due to their early involvement in our work, has had our early childhood specialist traveling nationally and internationally to share with others our process. Our work advancing early childhood education, access to health care, safety, diversity and economic stability has benefited greatly from this. So in addition to celebrating our 30th birthday, we also are excited to mark 2015 as a year to commemorate the expansion of pioneering efforts using the “Pay for Success” formula.
For 30 years now, Voices for Utah Children has called on our state, federal and local leaders to put children’s needs first. But the work is not done. The children of 30 years ago now have children of their own. Too many of these children are growing up in poverty, without access to healthcare or quality educational opportunities. How can you be involved?
- Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Voices for Utah Children with us at our Children’s Champion Award Luncheon on September 30, 2015.
- Make a tax-deductible donation to Voices for Utah Children—or join our Network with a monthly donation of $20 or more. Network membership includes complimentary admission to the luncheon.
We look forward to the future of Voices for Utah Children and we hope you will be a part of our next 30 years.
