2019 Children's Champion Award Luncheon October 11th

09 August 2019 Published in Events

Voices’ Annual Children’s Champion Award Luncheon is right around the corner!

Please join us on Friday, October 11, 2019, with guest speaker Dr. William O’Hare, a national census expert and former Kids Count Director for the Annie E. Casey Foundation.

William O’Hare has more than 40 years of experience with statistical data in public policy, and is an advocate for children across the nation. O’Hare now works to ensure that children will not be left out of the 2020 census as a consultant to the U.S. Census Bureau and The Partnership for America’s Children.

With children making up nearly one-third of Utah’s population, it is especially important that every Utah child is counted in the upcoming census - it’s estimated that for every Utah kid left out of the census, our state loses $1,000 of funding that would support children’s programs.

Join us for this important event, and help support Voices for Utah Children and the advocates in our state to improve the lives of Utah kids.
