Every Day Counts - Utah Governor Gary Herbert PSA

03 September 2013 Written by

The start of the school year is an exciting time. It's also the time to remind parents the value of school attendance. If a child misses even 10% of school days due to excused or unexcused absences, that child suffers academically. Regular attendance matters, even in kindergarten! Please help Utah children build a habit of good attendance. If we want a strong economy in the future, our youth must get a good education today. Teachers, community leaders, parents, and siblings, please support regular school attendance starting with day one. Because Every Day Counts.
