Janis built a successful career on Wall Street, focusing on innovative financial projects, after a leave of absence, she worked as a Pay for Success Fellow with the Obama Administration and lead the Department of Education’s Pay for Success initiative.
She later served as the Director of Early Childhood and Education Policy at Voices for Utah Children. While there, she led efforts to secure state funding for early childhood programs and was the architect of the Utah Preschool Social Impact Loan, the nation’s first early childhood Pay for Success project.
Janis later joined the Sorenson Impact Center as Managing Director for the Impact Finance Sorenson Impact Center. Currently, Janis consults part-time for the Senior Policy Advisor at the Health Resources and Services Administration, advising on Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting outcomes.
