Terry Haven

Terry joined Voices for Utah Children in 1996 and spent 24 years advocating for kids across Utah.

She led the Kids Count data book project, highlighting children’s well-being county by county, and published its findings in The Salt Lake Tribune under the title "How Are the Children?"—a question Terry was always ready to answer.

Terry’s laughter, warmth, and creativity lit up the office and inspired everyone around her. She was proud to work alongside Roz McGee, a dear friend and mentor. Her legacy continues to shape the work of Voices for Utah Children and all who had the privilege of working with her.
