What was your favorite thing about being a child, and do you try to hold onto that spirit as an adult?

I loved being with friends and still do today.

What was your favorite meal or dish that your family would make, and do you still enjoy it today?

Mac and cheese, and still make it today.

What was your favorite hobby or extracurricular activity as a child, and did you pursue it further later in life?

I loved going to camp, and I did not pursue it later in life.

What was your favorite toy or game to play with as a child?

I always loved board games like Monopoly and Payday.

Biography

Kristen Schulz has directed Park City Community Foundation’s Early Childhood Alliance in Park City, Utah, since 2019. The ECA engages, educates, and supports members, children, parents, and the community-at-large to prioritize accessible, excellent, and equitable outcomes for children in the Wasatch Back from the prenatal stage through age three. In addition to her work with the ECA, Kristen has ten years of experience in public policy and government funding with one of the largest Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and ten years of experience practicing government-contract law with national law firms. Kristen is an honors graduate from the University of Texas School of Law and holds an LL.M. in Environmental, Natural Resources and Energy Law from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. Kristen's career in law, public policy, and nonprofit work has been made entirely possible by the fantastic childcare providers who have cared for her three children.
